I can only use this scale with the software provided by Tanita and only then after killing the Garmin software.

This scale is NOT compatible in any way.#1 - I cannot use the scale with the Garmin ANT software running. I have a Forerunner 410 watch that connects via the ANT stick. 5 Plan very carefully before you buy I bought this item to expand my measurements on. Only thing I would change is to have a heads-up display for the basic weight. 4 Great idea I'm a techy person who loves all the 'numbers' and this was right up my ally. I like being able to track everything in one place, Garmin connect in my case, and with very little effort on my part.I wish a small LCD could display the weight on the unit but overall I'm extremely happy with it. 2 Completely unnecessary.and I love it Setup was a little sketchy with my Garmin 610, other than that no issues. 150.00 for the scale, 100.00 for the display because there is no app and the ant dongle to my desktop in the next room was an iffy connection at best, my computer was less than 10 foot from the scale. Without the display, you will have a very attractive battery powered piece of glass and plastic.I have received further instruction from Tanita and the product works fine.I am giving only three stars because the ad on Amazon gave insufficient information to make a good purchase decision and the initial instructions supplied were inadequate. Instruction # 1:Pairing the remote display and the BC-1100F ('platform')You'll have to buy the remote display for another $100. I love all the data it supplies and Garmin Connects lets me graph the changes, for good or not-so-good resultsRecommended 5 You'll have to spend more to see the results. 4 Great scale I bought this for it's reviews and that it works great with my Garmin Edge. Easy to configure I have mine setup with a remote display (D-1100) and 2 Samsung Galaxy S5 phones. We'll have to see how long a set of 4 AA's last.
